2019 High School Golf Team Agreement


lndian Peaks Golf Course is an upscale championship golf course, owned and operated by the City of Lafayette. lndian Peaks is known as one of Colorado's finest public golf facilities, and attracts players from all along the front-range and beyond. We are proud to support our two local high schools, Centaurus High School and Peak to Peak High School, with their varsity golf programs for both boys and girls.

Indian Peaks Golf Course

  • Team golf privileges are available Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays, during the respective team's golf season.

  • lndian Peaks will accommodate a maximum of 12 team members per school at any one time. lt is understood that teams may have more than 12 players trying out for the team, but the team should be cut to 12 or fewer players as soon as possible. lf a school is restricted from cutting players, it is understood that only 12 players will be at the golf course at any one time.

  • lndian Peaks provides access to the driving range and practice greens. Range balls are provided free of charge. The coach will be provided with a Range Card to access range balls for the team. This Range Card may be used for team use, and only Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays.

  • lndian Peaks provides access to play on the golf course, free of charge on a walk-on basis. The Coach shall check with Staff to inquire as to availability.

  • lndian Peaks provides access to play on the golf course at a discounted rate should tee-times be reserved for team practice or team tryouts/qualifying. Team members are offered the High School rate.

  • lndian Peaks will accommodate one league tournament per year for each team. High School players in the tournament will be offered the High School rate.

  • lndian Peaks will provide golf carts to the coaches free of charge, provided extra carts are available. Golf Carts may be used to follow players on the course during practice or tournaments. We permit no more than TWO RIDERS PER CART. Spectator carts are not permitted for practices or tournaments

  • Indian Peaks will provide access to the clubhouse dining room for a team meeting, during inclement weather, and provided it does not interfere with paying customers. Clubhouse shall not be used for exercising, stretching, practicing or instruction.

High School Golf Team & Coaches

  • Golf Team will have a Coach on-site at all times during team practices/tryouts to supervise and instruct their players. This shall include both the practice area and play on the golf course.

  • Team members are expected to have a good understanding of the swing, rules of golf, etiquette, and dress code. Varsity Bolf program shall not be promoted as an intramural sport or gym class.

  • When playing on the course, players should not be hitting multiple shots from the same position. Practice shall be reserved for the practice area.

  • Team members are expected to keep up the Pace of Play, and be aware of their position on the course at all times-

  • Team members and coaches are expected to wear proper golf attire. The preferred dress is a collared golf shirt along with appropriate length shorts or golf slacks. Denim is permitted, provided it is not torn or tattered. No gym shorts or hats worn backward are permitted.

  • During tournaments, coaches are encouraged to be on the course to assist with pace of play and answer rules questions when they arise. Should any coach elect to play, the standard rack rate will apply.

  • All food & beverages must be purchased from lndian Peaks Golf Course. No outside food or beverages, or coolers, are permitted. Any such goods will be subject to confiscation and violators will be subject to expulsion from the premises.

  • Violations of golf course policy, or vandalism of any kind, may result in the individual or golf team losing privileges to use the golf course or practice facility.
